Where the links are
Affiliate links appear next to results, where a person has just worked out what they need and might reasonably want to buy it. They are labelled where they appear, a disclosure beside the links, not only on this page, because a disclosure a reader has to go looking for is not a disclosure.
What commissions do not affect
- The arithmetic. Calculations are the same whether a product exists or not.
- Which option a page recommends, if it recommends one at all. Where a recommendation is commercial, it is described as a suggestion rather than an endorsement.
- The stated limitations of a tool.
Not an endorsement
A link is not a claim that a product is the best, the cheapest, or suitable for your job. We do not inventory stock, track live prices, or test products. Check specifications and suitability yourself.
